Preserve Agriculture

My grandfather Samuel J Stitt II started repairing barns with his brother in the early 1930s. My grandfather has passed his knowledge, experience and ingenuity to my uncles as well as my father, Mike Stitt.

Family Legacy

Since I can remember I was on the job with my dad. He taught me the traditional way of restoration as well as the value, appreciation, and history.

2006 I enlisted into the Michigan Army National Guard where I served 2 deployments to Afghanistan in 2009 and 2013.

Honesty and Integrity

I started working for my cousin Samuel J Stitt IV at Great Lakes Barn Preservation. I worked as a foreman until 2015 when he retired the business. In January 2016, I started American Heritage Barn Restoration. Where I am continuing the family tradition.
